Amazing Experience Every Time! Every two weeks I attend Laura Christine's salon to get gel nails and every 6 to get my hair done. I see Kelsey but all of the girls there are great and really easy to talk to. The salon is very accomodatting when it comes to scheduling. Both my nails and hair never leave the salon less than perfect! Also the salon is such a nice atmosphere since the old horrible crew left a little over a year ago. Mortified Mom I gave this a one star because there is nothing lower. I booked a spa party for my 13year old and her friends and I specifically told them I wanted it to be appropriate for that age. Instead, they did nothing different than they would for a 5year old. The area was crammed, the selection of feathers and extensions were awful and some looked dirty. chairs from the stock room were brought out for the girls to sit and one was covered with paint splatter. FANTASTIC Masseuse I first went to Laura Christines with a gift certificate i received from my aunt. The massages are WONDERFUL. amanda is amazing and even gave me homemade bath salts to take home, I have also had pedicures there which were also awesome. very comfortable atmosphere. i ahve recommended Amanda's massages to everyone whom asks me about them. What a waste.... I have to agree with the smoking comment, they always smell like smoke and constantly go out front to smoke. I had to walk though it on my way in and out of the building. The girls are very unprofessional and I had to listen to them swearing and talking about sex. Not the kind of spa experience I was looking for. On top of it all - my nail polish peeled off my nails in less than 48 hrs. I've never heard of that happening, how the heck do you put nail polish on wrong?!!?
Very Happy Our family has been going to this salon for many years. The girls are very nice and professional. Not only are they professional, they make it like a "family" atmosphere. During a winter storm, my vehicle wouldn't start and I had to pick up our son from school. (I was at the salon) Laura, made arrangements for my son to be picked up on time, so I wouldn't have to worry while Triple A came to help me. As far as smoking goes, I never smell smoke on them and I DO NOT SMOKE.
Fun Yet Calming I was looking for a salon closer to home (Hamburg) that wasn't stuffy, yet offered quality and up-to-date style at a reasonable price. Laura Christine's is exactly that. Everyone there is very welcoming and friendly. I have only had Laura work on my hair, but I have seen the other stylists' work and it all looks great to me. No one leaves without a complete style. Great Salon! Laura Christine's is comfortable, not stuffy. The stylists, massage therapist and nail tech are friendly and make you feel at home. The salon offers a wide variety of services in a setting that is comfortable, unlike many salons that are too big and have a commercial feel. Jennifer has been my stylist for quite some time and does a fabulous job. I constantly get compliments on my hair. DON'T GO!!!!! Especially if you have a big event!!!! Save your money girls!! Went here before my brothers wedding with my sister in law. They gave us the same girl!! Long story short-we looked ridiculous and I did my hair over on the way to the wedding!! I don't know why we even paid-we were stunned and out of time. I called after because it bothered me so and Laura seemed unapologetic-which made me more angry-NEVER WENT BACK-& I will continue to warn everyone I can about this salon!
Very Unhappy II made an appointment with Carey 2 weeks ahead of time. Well when I got there I was informed that the person who took my phone call (I was told it was the owner) did not leave enough time in-between appointments, did not ask my last name or phone number and wrote down color when I need foils. Not my fault I did not write my own name in the book. Carey informed me that she could not dry or style my hair that she would not have enough time.
