Dr Barber takes the time to listen. She has a genuine concern with what's going on with her patients. She is very straightforward and explains things in detail when you need her to. She has a wonderful staff also.
Empathetic, straight forward, and explains VERY well the diagnosis and recommendations.
I would highly recommend this doctor. Excellent. Straight to the point. Avoid unnecessary testing and explain in detail reasons of potential medications. Follow up by phone calls. We need more doctors like this one.

In less than a week of my first visit with Dr. Barber I was diagnosed with early stage of Lung Cancer. I was evaluated by Dr. Barber and she insisted in requesting a screening chest CT. My insurance denied. Dr. Barber fought back they finally approved. I had a small 2 cm tumor on my right lung. I had the surgery at Venice Hospital 3 months ago and I am now cancer free. I can not thank enough Dr. Barber for her diligent work. My family and myself want to say thank you and God bless you Dr. B.!
