Why on earth do these homes at the $1.5m price point in Irvine not have central air conditioning? Zonk! Split systems in every room? Really? Feels like we’re in Europe or Asia all of a sudden. Split systems are ugly and less efficient as hot/cold air quickly escapes (especially in open concept floor plans) and so the system runs continuously, not to mention the maintenance involved cleaning 20 filters. Wasteful and cheap-looking. Not impressed Trumark!
