my husband and I took our two grandson's, 13 and 10, for a weekend. They loved it here! It's so nice that you have all the beach toys, chairs, umbrellas,... available down at the beach. The boys used one of the kayaks and tried a row boat. Our tradition while in this area is to go to Oink's for ice cream, which we did, but the boys wanted to hurry right back. Paul was an excellent host. It was a very relaxing weekend and we hope to come back soon.
This is our go to place to relax in Harbor Country, Michigan. The Lat's family provide exceptional service, a friendly and welcoming environment and a very relaxing and enjoyable respite from the daily grind. The private beach is beautiful and charming. The cottages are clean and have the amenities one needs to enjoy a lake retreat!
I've been lucky enough to visit twice. The cottages are always beautiful and well-maintained--very comfortable. The view and beach are unbeatable. This is a great vacation spot to get in touch with nature, especially if you love a nice beach.
