RecommendedWe have stayed in all but one of the cottages, 5 times to be exact, over the summer of 2020. There is a charm and soul to these humble cottages that far surpass anything fancy. I have been coming here for so many years for so many different occasions! Weddings, day visits, overnight stays... the property is always beautifully kept and comfortable! Its easily a place to make yourself at home. Best part is that there is a private beach! Close enough to see other people, but far enough to enjoy family time. Second awesome thing is that there are great restaurants like the infamous Stray Dog and Reddamack's Burgers right down the street!

I have been up to the Lat's as a kids with my parents as renters since 1962. As an adult I just rented from the Lat's this past weekend. Paul (son of founders) and his lovely wife Carol run the cottages (with help from their daughter Jenn) now and they are great hosts and the cottages are still the place to rent! I feel like family.
What an amazing place. A beautiful bluff to watch the sunset, The Main House is accommodating to all guests staying in the cottages for enjoying meals and whatever else together. Owners are just wonderful.
