Dr. Culotta released my baby’s tongue and lip ties when she was 3 days old. She made us feel completely comfortable and safe during the experience. She talked us through exactly what to expect, showed us where the tongue and lip ties were, and gave my partner and I privacy to make our decision about whether or not to have the procedure done. Dr. Culotta is phenomenal!! She is professional, caring, and super knowledgeable about tongue and lip ties. Her expertise in this field (even has her LC) is so appreciated. If you have any questions or concerns about your baby’s lip or tongue tie, this is the place to go! She can precisely release them in office and will show you in advance what exercises to do afterwards to promote the best healing - she truly cares about what she does and is so supportive.
I’m writing this review from a grandmother’s perspective. My sweet granddaughter was born on a Thursday, and by Saturday, the hospital pediatrician had diagnosed her with both a tongue tie and a lip tie. Both were significantly interfering with breastfeeding. She was unable to latch properly, and nursing was very painful for my daughter.
