My lease just got bought out on 12/19/25 by LaSala Real Estate, LLC. There was no communication from the company until January 1st, 2026. That communication was an email inviting me to activate an online portal on their website in order to pay them. I had no idea who this company was or if the email was legitimate because they had failed to introduce themselves to me beforehand. LaSala has a listing for The Storyteller apartment building on Asylum Hill in Hartford, Ct. The main concern from both Mr LaSala and his office manager was if we had good credit because the property owner has issues with low credit. Mine is 750+, considered good by most.
