If there was a negative star selection it'd be at -100! Horible place, owner and daughter allow skinny horses out there, no updated coggins stalls not kept up at all and the sad thing is all the skinny not takin care of horses are NICKIE SMITHS!! She beats these animals if they dont do what they want and she trains them! If you are looking to board keep on looking never would I ever have my horse out there as long as I live I'd rather put my horse down then to board at garden ridge.... Won't answer phones – I am a very unsatisfied customer. Upon entering the store I asked what time they closed, The clerk told me 9:00PM. So I hurried around and was at checkout at 8:55PM. Then he tells me OH, Uh I forgot we are open till 10:00PM.. :( Well, as I was so frustrated by this I accidentally left a $50.00 picture leaning against the checkout counter. CUSTOMERS BEWARE, THIS PLACE IS A RIP OFF!!! – I purchased a reclining leather loveseat/sofa combo from them,when they delivered it, they took the protective plastic off on the truck they rubbed it on the stucco on my house on the way in and damaged both, they refused to do anything about it, its also missing a protective plastic foot and the seat backs arent installed correctlly so you can't recline it, I also bought a dining room table from them, brand new out of the box, the latch to open the table to add a leaf was broke... read more

You CAN'T be serious! – This place is beyond rustic, it looks more like a junk yard than a stable. Some of the panels are rusted out, broken, or even make-shift from plastic pallets, or whatever corroded pipes or old boards laying around. Things constanly "disappear" from the community tack room. There is brush laying on the ground everywhere, the electric fencing is either never working or practically laying on the ground. The outdoor pens have no cover for rain or sun. When it rains, the horses are standing in wet manure, ... read more
