Las Ramblas offers the most inventive tapas and Spanish delicacies on this side of the Atlantic. Take your pick from the tuna mojama, patatas bravas and boquerones. Although the red pear, strawberry and white peach sangrias are the major draws, the sandwiches provide for a light and tasty snack. The place accommodates just about 20 to 30 patrons at a time and can get crowded easily.

Consistently Excellent – I have never been to a restaurant where the food is so consistently good, and the place always packed, where the staff is so unfailingly helpful and courteous. They seem to take alot of pride in the food as well as their reccomendations. One of the owners is part of the waitstaff and is extremely knowledgable about the wine she reccomends to pair with your tapas. As with tapas, things can get a bit pricey, but you really feel that you have gotten your moneys worth here.I really cannot say enough good thin... read more
GREAT!! – I went here last monday night for my bf's birthday on my friend's recommendation. I am so happy I decided to go because we had a splendid time due to the amazingly tasty tapas, the excellent wine selection and the very welcome and friendly staff. I recommend this place to anyone that likes cozy authentic dining (the place is small though so not recommended for groups).
Amazing Patatas Bravas – the place is small... can hardly fit a crowd of 10 plus... so group dining means you will book the whole place. the food makes up for the lack of space. tasty and nicely priced. the staff know their chorizo and wine, go for the peach sangria- a delight to sip.
Authentic Tapas Bar in Greenwich Village – My friend and I love people watching in Greenwich Village. And we just found the best place to do it! Las Ramblas Tapas Bar is on W. 4th Street near 6th Avenue. It's a small place, but "oh, so authentic"! We felt like we were in Barcelona, Spain. The garlic shrimp was delicious, and came sizzling from the kitchen. The Chorizo con Alubias, which combined chorizo and white beans, also was presented sizzling at the table. The cured meats were fantastic, especially the Serrano ham. Our ... read more
Nice food – I will go there again and recommend for other people, very tiny place. May have to wait for seat. Recommend the strawbery virgin SANGRIA. Must have.
Please - stay away! – Please stay away from Las Ramblas because I love it! If you go, I won't be able to get a table! Food was great and having been to Spain and more specifically it's namesake "Las Ramblas" in Barcelona, I found it truly authentic. I sampled about 4 tapas and all were very tasty, fair priced and decent portions. Some really nice Spanish wines too. And while I didn't have one, the draft beers looked very fresh and tasty. The place is very cozy, and I do mean cozy, but it kind of added to the fun. And I have ... read more
A taste of Barcelona – This place is pretty similar to a random little eatery in Barcelona. The tapas are of very good quality and so is the Sangria. Just like in Spain, of course, the sangria has much more ice than fruit, but it tastes pleasant nonetheless. I would recommend the shrimp. The sardines are tasty but very bony. The prices are reasonable, but don't come too hungry. This is really a bar with excellent bar food.
Excellent tapas with even better service – If tapas and sangria are your thing, then you must visit Las Ramblas. The food is amazing, so flavorful. The portions are great for tapas, and the service cannot be topped. The host apologized for the wait to be seated, and we only had to wait five minutes. This is a great tapas experience, with unpretentious service from servers who never lose their cool, even as the restaurant heats up. I've tried great tapas places, like Euzkadi, Pipa and Azafran, but this definitely tops them al... read more
