I genuinely hate leaving negative reviews because Dr Larson, hygienists, assistants, and even the other front desk staff were wonderful. Unfortunately, one experience with the financial office was enough for us to cancel all future appointments. After our visit, we were sent home without being asked to pay. We asked multiple times “are we okay?” “Is our balance caught up?” & we were sent on our way! Please Read Me! I don't usually write reviews, but this was the most disappointing dental experience I've ever had. I was overcharged for a routine cleaning, with unexpected fees added on without explanation. The staff also treated my autistic son with a demeaning attitude during his appointment, which was completely unacceptable. When I tried to discuss our concerns, the receptionists responded condescendingly and took no responsibility, instead placing the blame on us. I asked if they took Cigna. They said yes and took my insurance card. A week later they, after some major work, they call and tell me none of it was covered. My plan specifically did not cover what I had done. I assumed when they took my card they would’ve have checked, or at least told me we needed to wait for authorization from the insurance before the work was done. But they led me to believe it wouldn’t be an issue. Ultimately my responsibility to check with my insurance but I felt duped.
