Larry Wright is a fantastic trumpet teacher. He is patient, thoughtful, and a musical role model who produces students with a strong musical and technical foundation. Larry was a wonderful teacher for my son -- always professional and encouraging. He had very high standards, but was never intimidating or overbearing. Making music was the ultimate goal, but Larry also presented a variety of methods for improving technical aspects of trumpet playing. Most importantly, Larry encouraged our son to be his own teacher, and gave him the tools to go off to major in music.
