Alex in Service was very helpful. We bought our 2003 Turbo beetle new and have always had it serviced there. The check engine light was on and I got an appointment the next day. The previous 3 service appointments were bad. I explained to Alex that I was most upset with the previous service but giving the dealerships one more chance. Alex was attentive and easy to deal with. I hope this is an indication that they are improving their customer service.
Matt was very friendly and quick to change my tires. The only thing that I did not like was that when I had called VW previously to get a quote on my tires I was told a quote without the service fee so it ended up being $50 more than I was expecting to pay. That had nothing to do with Matt though he was great and broke down the price for me so I understood what I was being charged for.
The experience wasn’t a good one. Financial department stated the lease buyout rate was based off the purchase rate, yet their contract provided a rate based off MRSP. That would have been a deal breaker. Wife missed it. The issue was identified within one hour of purchase. The dealership would not rescind the purchase. I urge all future customers to be aware of these practices.
