Lark continues to be one of the best restaurants in the Castro. I come here regularly. Most of the dishes on the menu are pretty good. The environment is nice enough. The service is a bit uneven, but good enough.
The organizers treated us 'VIPs' to a dinner confab in this historic, culturally-steeped venue. Ambiance, great eats, served with proficiency + panache.
The restaurant was nice, our seats were comfortable. It was a little dark, almost too dark to read the menu. We had the hummus and the garlic fries to start.decent side portions. The entrees were good as well. We all ordered the Sultani. Our host was polite and prompt. Our server, Michael, was the only real issue, he was confused and distracted.
