The whole experience was extremely unpleasant -will never go back.
Wow! She’s one of these doctors if she doesn’t understand or she’s never seen the problem before she goes to directly blaming the patient. Doesn’t even listen to any history and disregards anything that doesn’t fit with her narrative in her head. A legend in her own mind
She is excellent. I had several skin cancer operations and found her to be knowledgeable. I’ve seen several dermstoligust and was very impressed with dr Geskin.
On November 6,2018 I seen dr gaskin for the first time I felt every comfortable with the decision she mad she knew exactly what was going on with me I will definitely recommend her to my friends and family.
I found Dr. Geskin to be an excellent dermatologist! She analyzed my condition and recommended a number of treatment options, from which I picked one that I thought would suit me best. Dr. Geskin was thorough with the dermatology exam, and patiently answered all of my questions about my skin condition.
Dr. Geskin may be a good doctor, but her practice at Columbia's Physicians & Surg. is a complete rip off. For more than a decade I get Photodynamic Therapy-- from various dermatologists over that time. Unlike the other esteemed Drs. in past, her office would only do 1 area at a visit-- unless I PAY OUT OF POCKET despite that it is covered by my insurance!! Just a total scam, money squeeze for them at my expense--as if paying for top level insurance isn't expensive enough. Terrible office!!!
Stay away from this “doctor”— she is abrupt, rude and determined to do the most costly procedure instead of listening to the patient. After 20 years of hair loss treatment she recommended not only unnecessary but harmful procedures which caused my hair loss to rapidly progress. For this I paid thousands despite her reassurance that everything was covered. During this time she was unavailable for any phone consult then forgot who I was. She failed to offer any helpful information.
Will never go there again. Treated me like I was a nuisance when I had a tick bite. Decided to keep w/ her since I already had appointments for skin checks. They lost my appointment, *assumed* I was having a completely different procedure, and other incompetence that was the last straw. The doctor herself has a lower than average bedside manner. So, yeah, never going back.
Spends almost no time doing an exam. Does not respond to multiple phone calls and emails.
