I am a volunteer with Project Pup along with my therapy dog GeeDee. We visit the patients at the Largo Medical Center main campus as well as the Indian Rocks Rd location. Every time we visit these locations, I find everyone to be very nice, the staff to be very friendly and everyone seems to be doing a good job at what they do. There are many times when the staff goes out of their way to make sure that their patients get a visit from GeeDee.
The staff did everything they could to help our family cope with our loss. They made sure Mike was as comfortable as possible. They definitely could use a larger waiting room close to the MICU.
Staff is terrific - could make comforts for family member staying with patients more comfortable but overall they did great!
I suppose it could be worse. I certainly didn't appreciate the pic line/ iv team guy Chad talking horribly about me not knowing it was my room he was in front of. Said," she was stupid enough to get liver disease and now I have to stop what I'm doing to take care of her" completely rude, I need a liver transplant. No I'm sorry from him only "OK you caught me, I shouldn't have said that out loud" NO IDIOT, YOU SHOULDN'T HAVE SAID IT AT ALL, GET A NEW JOB!! The nurses, for the most part were lovely.
Staff wasn't very pleasant , and prescribed me a medication that would have an adverse effect with my medications I take on a daily basis. When brought to there attention their response was to " take it or not , it was my choice " . I will be looking into contacting an attorney.
I have to say everyone was awesome there. Spent 5 days on the 3rd floor and my nurses, assistants and techs were great. They truly are a blessing!! Big shout out to Cristabel, Sanela, Jose, Rob and Miranda. Couldn't of gotten through without you guys. And Christie is housekeeping, you rock.. Thank you !!!
Took my daughter in and all I can say is WOW Dr. Lee was so great and nice, the security guy even helped us check in and made sure triage knew we were there. All around great staff, caring, helpful and friendly
The staff was great at getting me in fast and to my room. The nurse and dr were amazing to take the pain down and run test and find the problem and give me a referral to a spine surgeon. I would recommend this hospital to anyone i know.
