I bought a Boat cover for my Boat ($1795) in June 2022. Installed cove in July 2022, we received an inch of rain, and the cover has already torn. I called the warranty department who requested pictures. I am told the cover was not installed correctly and not covered by the warranty. It's not rocket science; the Bow portion of the cover has a cut out hole for the Anchor Windlass- from there you can't possibly confuse the Port and Stbd sides nor the stern. Purchased a $1890 Boat cover from Laporte, received cover in June 2022, installed in July 2022. One inch of rain and the cover is torn. I called the warranty dept and left numerous emails, sales dept will answer the phone immediately, but not the warranty dept. I sent them numerous pictures and they tell me the cover was not installed correctly. Do not buy from this company
March 4th, 2020, still waiting on my money based on their return policy, currently working with my bank/USAA and Visa credit card to recover my money for a Boat Cover that I never received. I was told by Ryan a manager at LaPortes that I would not be refunded any monies because I wrote a bad review. I guess now it's there policy that if you give them a bad review they will not honor their part of the deal............They have received the returned Boat Cover and based on their policy I would be charged a 30% re-stocking fee... read more
Be very, very careful of this company, they don't like veterans and will not return your money for any issues you may have with their cover! I have mailed the cover back to them and filled out necessary paperwork based on their p[policy guidelines.......now the banks are having problems with this company also.......The Company from Hell, I've tried talking with management i.e. Ryan LaPorte's Products and his father Darren, they won't allow me to speak with the owner, I have returned their Boat Cover following their policy fo... read more
