This message is posted on behalf of the Creston-Kenilworth neighborhood regarding LAPIN MOTORS. We are a group of neighbors unsuccessfully (so far) in getting the owner of this company to stop using our neighborhood streets as a racetrack. They are driving at extremely high speeds on our residential streets. Spinning circles in intersections. Do not trust these people. I am in the process with my lawyer on filing a lawsuit on this company. Here is what happened. I was trying to sell my car, and one of the sales persons, I was told his name is Mitch, was interested in my car. I haven't had contact with him personally, only with one of his outside contractors that found my car ad on Craigslist. We texted over the phone and they were interested in buying my car. Buyers Beware! We bought a Toyota Tundra from Lapin Motors in Portland and specifically asked them if the truck had been in an accident . The said NO! We just took the truck to a Toyota dealer to fix a loud noise in the fan belt, fix the air conditioner, and check the brakes. The Toyota dealer service department told us the truck must have been in a bad accident and was not safe to drive. We now have to pay just over $6000 in repairs to get it fixed.
