I can see from previous reviews that I am not the only person who has had concerns about the customer service over the phone. Unfortunately, my experience today was very disappointing. The receptionist who answered the call was abrupt, impatient, and frequently interrupted me before I could finish explaining why I was calling. Recently, I shipped a barrel with Laparkan and I regretted shipping with them. They give my barrel to another customer, who returned it after a few hours, while my family is waiting to pick it up. My main concern is how causal the staff was viewing this incident. Food items being given to someone and then transferred to my family, who have eat those foods, raises major questions and concerns about the safety of food items being shipped through Laparkan. Very disappointing experience with Laparkan. We shipped a box from Montreal on December 12, and were told it would arrive in Montego Bay, Jamaica within 5 weeks. After 6 weeks, we called for an update and were told the shipment had never actually been sent. We were then told it would ship on January 21 and arrive on February 28. As of March 12, we still have not received our shipment. Trying to get information has been extremely frustrating.
