Terrible service! Waited over an hour and no food nor did the wait staff apologize or give update on our order. Other patrons came after us and received their orders.
I have eaten at the Lantern Inn several times a week for the last 23 years. I frequently bring out of town guest here. The reason is simple; Good food at very reasonable prices; a friendly, efficient, wait staff, and a relaxed, neighbor diner, atmosphere. We frequently meet friends at the Lantern Inn and enjoy a social outing with out meals.
We eat at Lantern Inn at least 3 times a week-and have for years! We love the patrons, the staff, the family atmosphere and the service.
Go there often, today absolute worst experience with service and wait staff ever. Almost 1 1/2 hours waiting and dealing with non concerned wait staff for terrible food, multiple sets of folks coming in afterwards, getting food and paying, leaving before getting ours. Wait staff , Kylie. ....shameful. Hope things improve soon, as owner I would be embarrassed to have such occur.
The food was amazing, our wait staff was even better!! We went in with a large party and sat in the sunroom. Our drinks were never empty and the food came out quickly. The pork tenderloin was to die for!! Next time I am in town, I will for sure be back in!!
