Lansing Pediatrics Associates is the BEST ! I can not say enough positive things about Lansing Pediatrics. My children (ages 14 & 10) are patients of Dr. T's and they absolutely love him. The whole staff is amazing! Any time when my children have been sick, I have always been able to get them in that same day. I don't even have that much luck with my own doctor!
Lansing Pediatric Assoc is wonderful I have been taking my oldest child to LPA for over 16 years now. When I adopted my, then almost 2 year old, they gladly accepted her as a patient. I love them.
Wonderful, but Busy, Practice Lansing Pediatrics has been a part of my family's life for about 30 years now. Both my brother and I were patients there when we were young and now all 4 of my children are patients (and my nephew is as well). The physicians at this practice are wonderful, but they are often not accepting new patients in order to provide the best possible care for those that they already do have (they are already at a maximum case load.). Buisness must be great because they no longer need mine..... My 11 and 10 year old children have been patients since birth, but you haven't been there in 1 month shy of 3 years, but every year prior to. So they tell me we are longer welcomed there because you are now considered a new patient and they aren't accepting new patients....and we haven't seen any other doctor except them! Loved the practice and really disappointed with this. Further more, I have referred many friends to them. So now need to look for another doctor.
She is a new baby to me, but..... Sure they will take new patients - as long as they are a new baby right out of the hospital and not seen by another doctor. Don't expect them to budge - even if your 'new baby' is 15 months old and born in China. She was a new baby to me, but they didn't care. I found out other adoptive parents had the same issue.
New Patients I think their policy on new patients is ridicules. I have three children who are 10mo., 4yrs, and 10yrs. I recently decided to take our children to a pediatrician due to my kids?? having a few uncommon issues that I didn't feel that my family doc. is equipped to handle. Even though they were the pediatricians that saw my baby in the hospital they couldn't see them due to my baby being seen at another doctor since. Not only did they say this but they were not friendly about it in the least.
"I suggest taking your child to urgent care if she is ill" ?!?!? Poor business practices. I am new to this office after moving to the area- was there a month ago for my infant's vaccinations/well visit. Brought all records from previous doctor for both the baby and my school age child. Just called today for a sick visit for older child and was told they have to see her for initial routine exam before they will see her when ill. FANTASTIC, BEST EVER!!!! We've been coming to Lansing Peds for over 20 years and have received the best care possible. My brothers didn't want to move to a regular doctor after they turned 18. Our family loves all the doctors in the group and I support the filter on new patients. This truly shows that they care more about the children they already have and not the bottom line.
Great Practice Our family has been going to Lansing Pediatrics for 19 years and have received nothing but excellent service. Our waiting time has been less than 20 mins (max) in the front lobby. Both are children have been consistently seen by the same doctor over the years. The staff is helpful and professional.
