update - prob a little too hard on them, they are going to correct the mistake, but also realized I could just use the bottom pin and get a strap that ties onto the neck - didn't know that existed so wish that was offered, but regardless, all's well that ends well.
Bought an acoustic guitar there yesterday without a top strap pin so they installed one and suggested the location. Not knowing any better and trusting their expertise, I got home and put the strap on and they put the top strap pin in a location that doesn't work, the guitar tips forward. Not sure how they are not aware of that, I watched numerous videos today and NO ONE recommends putting it where they did. Not sure this can even be repaired or corrected, since the guitar will have a hole in it if I move the pin. This reall... read more
