I have nothing good to say.
I've been here for 15 days recovering from a broken femur. As eager as I am to go home in two days, I feel sad. This place welcomed me like a comforting warm blanket, and I get teary thinking about how hard it will be to say goodbye. The facility is beautiful, the rehab room is top notch, the food was wonderful, but without caring and attentive people, none of that matters. If there were a higher score I could give, I would. I am currently staying here in rehab. From the moment of my arrival I have been well cared for at every level. From house keeping, meals (which are OUTSTANDING) nurses, OT/PT, social worker and activities. I can not say enough how grateful I am to have found this location. My family visits everyday, I have a lot of friends who visit. The rooms are large, there are many areas to gather together to visit. It is welcomed and encouraged to have visitors. When my father stayed at the predecessor facility there, one of his great joys was our visits with him to the beautifully landscaped area behind his building. It included paved paths for his wheelchair, a large ornamental fountain, raised gardens and a screened gazebo. But, for some unfathomable reason, when Presbyterian demolished the former building, they also removed all the landscape features and replaced them with nothing at all except dirt.
