My husband took my dog to the clinic today as a new patient. I called to check up on what the doctor had said about my dog. I was in shock when my husband said 'Well, the doctor called me an idiot today, but he gave me medicine for the dog'. Of course, my husband played it off as a 'half kidding' comment from the doctor. I have a Masters Degree in Mental Health Counseling and I know that I would not verbally call a patient/client an idiot . Ever!! Especially if I expected them to come back to my office.
