Food sux and too expensive I have been to Langers twice. Both times I had pastrami sandwitches with a big disappointment. Bread was hard and the amount of meat was tiny. I know this place used to be popular but the nostalgia is not worth for me to go there. Be carefull, there are full of violent drug users, gangs, people selling drugs all around the place in a broad daylight.
oh the burgers Langers is sooo good. The burgers are out of this world. I loved how the gring the meat right there in the store. The meat was fresh and juicy. I suggest this to anyone looking to try a fresh burger!
Best Pastrami Sandwich in the World It's pretty bold of me to say Langer's serves the best pastrami sandwich in the world, but having eating at the best of them (Carnegie Deli, Stage Deli, etc, etc, etc), I can attest to the fact that this is indeed the best. Amazing. This place is genius. Hand carved pastrami and corned beef served on the most incredible bread in the world. Don't leave without at least 2 loaves for the freezer. No, the sandwich isn't insanely huge like some other delis serve, but how big is your stomach anyway? Langers is incredible. I've only been there once, but I've been thinking about it. Without a doubt, the best sandwich in the world.
Sandwiches and langers are the best. It has some different tastes than other restaurants. Neat and Clean Place.
I just ate at the famous Langer's deli for the first time and it was as amazing as I had heard!!! The service was quick and the food was delish! I ordered the oh so famous #19 and it was to die for. The rye bread had a super crispy crust and a super soft middle. The pastrami literally melted in my mouth. Definitely the best pastrami in LA and I have been to many a deli in the Los Angeles area.
Best pastrami I have ever had in my life--cannot wait to go back to devour this lovely thing again. Big plus is seeing Mr. T going into the restaurant for lunch.
Good pastrami sandwiches are a classic order at Langer's. Parking lot close. Neighborhood feels very sketchy.
