I have been coming since the 70's and 80's. Great food every time! Great Drinks every time. Great salads every time. Great Calamari every time! Great Cream Brûlée every time. Great well trained wait staff every time. You get your money's worth every time.
The service was amazing, even more so than usual. Lauren was attentive, always available but not hovering. She was just wonderful. The food was delicious as always. The food is always wonderful, but the service is what makes this restaurant so fantastic!
Today is me and my husband's first time visiting Landry's Katy location and I must say we were very disappointed. We were greeted very nicely by the hostess and immediately seated. We were seated for 10 minutes and no one ever came to wait on us. I finally got up to ask for a manager and complained. He was very apologetic but did not do anything to accommodate us for our troubles. My husband and I do not live in Katy and we drove pretty far just to try it out. I don't think we will ever go back. Food was good , I was disappointed in the selection of food choices , I was hoping for more of a selection. Only two types of fish (fried Catfish and Lemon Tilapia) and of Course there was Fried and Boiled Shrimp , but no oysters or even Hush puppies ? No scallops , needless to say at $30.00 a person , for the Holiday Buffet . What made it a Holiday ? The extra desserts ?
It was the gross roaches that kept falling onto our dinner table as food was being served. I hope someone calls the Texas Health Department. Just imagine how filthy the behind the scenes where your food is being prepared with no doubt more roaches. Under cover boss needs to check out that location. Apparently he failed. And I swear the food taste from frozen to reheated microwaved. As much money as you people are making you should have real a chef cooking.
