Excellent dining experience from beginning to end! The host was wonderful and welcoming, then our waitress was fast and friendly, the cocktails were spot on, then the appetizer, WOW, clams casino, stuffed shrimp and stuffed mushrooms 😍. Then if that wasn’t fabulous enough...my filet mignon melted in my mouth! I NEVER order dessert, and go out to eat 3-5 times a week! The experience was so good, I had to order the crème brûlée, which was...you guessed it, AMAZING! Can’t wait to go back 😋🍹
Delicious food, attentive and professional service, extensive wine list.
Great grilled salmon and filet mignon - highly recommend toll house pie
The food was really great, far above the usual old upstate NY spots. Well cooked, nice presentation, seasoning was perfect. Our waiter hadn’t the slightest idea what he was doing but was attentive, friendly, and kind.
When they pay $19 for 10.5 hours ans $5. For 2.5 hours it averages about $2 an hour. Then "forget" to sign a check for a teenager just trying to make some money. I will NEVER go there and i hope this ruins there antique week.
Historic building updated to seating for many. Awesome spot. Put it on your list of places to see in the area. Oh, and the food was delicious!
We ate dinner and stayed overnight. We were welcomed and the Owner was very friendly. We were traveling with our dog and allowed to have him stay with us for a reasonable fee. The dinner was delicious. I had stuffed shrimp and my husband had haddock. The vegetables were seasonable and tender. Dessert was a homemade carrot cake with perfect cream cheese frosting. Our room was clean, warm and nicely furnished with a beautiful canopy bed. Breakfast was continental with plenty of choices of homemade breads and muffins, fresh fru... read more
We stopped there on Tuesday on our way back from Cooperstown. Wonderful Long Island duckling with orange sauce. A unique sweet and sour house dressing on the salad. Delicious stuffing was topped off by a great creme brûlée. Our welcome by the hostess was like we were old friends and our server was equally friendly. Food was served amazingly hot and cooked to perfection.
