Had dinner here for the first time last night. We had family visiting from out of town, and we stumbled upon this lovely establishment. Everything was perfect from the moment we walked in. Impeccable service - the staff were friendly and engaging without being pushy, and very helpful. we were welcomed by a friendly staff, the owner brought us a bacon appetizer that was completely made in house, and delicious!!! I would recommend going there
We had a most wonderful meal here, beginning with the unpretentious warm welcome. Totally friendly service from knowledgeable waitstaff is perfectly suited to the very well prepared food that feels as if it came from your mother’s kitchen (who really knows how to cook). Miss Diva and I celebrated her book signing event by having dinner at a 5 star restaurant on the Rockland waterfront called The Landing. The ambiance, the hostess, the cook and the wait staff all were amazing. Food quality was above average and prices were reasonable. We felt that the service was very slow. The restaurant was not that busy when we arrived and we ordered as soon as our server appeared, which was at least 10 minutes just to ask to get a glass of water. We waited over a half hour for our food, as did others seated near us. The food was good, nothing out of the ordinary, with a rather limited summer menu selection. We wonder what happens on a busy day. We might go again when in the area but would not go to Rockland just for this restaurant.
My mom and I both had the lobster roll which were very good! Nice view of the water and ships. Pleasant staff!
