I've been coming here for many many years......then I heard they were tearing it down and rebuilding......and what an amazing job they did! Turned a little landmark into a destination! Great Food, Great Views, Great Place! A must stop for summer boaters!
Stopped after our sunset trip around the lake, just had a drink this time but we've been here a dozen+ times since Memorial Day, bummed it's closing until next year but I understand the lack of waitstaff. We've always been pleased and think it's a GREAT addition to Lake Charlevoix, we've been waiting for something like this for years! See you next Spring! Great job Preston and the staff is terrific!
The remodel looks great, but the new management is anti-pets. Lots of signs posted everywhere. In order to respect their new policy we ordered our food to-go and waited outside on the sidewalk with our service dog. One of the managers came out and chased us away saying we weren't even allowed to stand on the sidewalk with our dog. On leash. Sitting at my feet. When I asked where we could go to wait she said "Anywhere that's not on the property." What, like out on the main road?! Very unfriendly.
If you're looking for vegetarian options, or if you just want to try something great, order the Summer Greens Salad and the Good Seed Burger. Both were fantastic! Our new (old) place!
We stopped there for the first time yesterday. We loved it! It reminds us of the restaurants on the Gulf in Mississippi! The food was also very good and nice portions! Of course we had my favorite young lady waiting on us! Thanks Kaitlyn! !
