The staff is great but the matcha is sadly not great. I hate to waste, but I did end up tossing 90% of it. I've had good matcha lattes at other LoTH locations but this one was pale and extremely sugary (I wanted unsweetened, but it's pre-sweetened I guess) I did see someone else get a green-colored matcha somehow. I assume she she paid the upcharge for "ceremonial grade" matcha (which is essentially a nonsense marketing term if you really research it)
They dont take cash.
We only had a quick coffee and snack stop at 16:30 so the place was empty, but oh my god the espresso was one of the best I've ever had.
On July 31st, I ordered a White Chocolate and Mint Freeze with only one pump of each instead of the typical two pumps and a Pistachio Croissant. The Barista was incredibly helpful by sharing options on flavors and when the pastries were baked. My Freeze was absolutely delicious and my croissant was soft and fresh. My latest visit was impeccable! She told me her name, but I was afraid of butchering it here. 😭 Anyway, she works in the morning, her sense of service is awesome, and her energy is everything! 😊😊😊😊😊😊
