Horrible and shady...... STAY AWAY!! My, oh my where to start with this company. Me and my husband rented from company a few years ago and they were extremely unprofessional. Before we moved in there were many repairs needed to the home. And we were promised all would be repaired. Moving day came and went with no repairs done. SUCKS!!!!!! This company SUCKS!!!!!! I had a lease with Land Ho for a year. In February I recive a letter informing me that LAND HO OF TAMPA BAY has merged with Vintage Real State and they will managing the property I was leaving. I went to the new office to return the keys and Bruce or Ed Manny Told me I was going to recive my deposit for the amount 1,500.00 in 15 days. Thats was on March 9, 2011. These Folks Are Ok My wife and I rented an apartment from these folks from June 2010 thru Dec 2010. Was everything perfect? No. But I have read some of these reviews and I think maybe there were some sour grapes. It seems that all the reviews were written on Dec. 30, 2010. It looks a little suspicious. Go elswhere, putem out of business! Had a bad experience with Kent Clark. He did not tell me to BEWARE about purchasing a home without a disclousure, this was a BIG mistake. He refered me to Todd Homes for inspection and they missed sooo many problems it promptedmeto get a lawyer to sue both of them soon since they did not want to work with me.Kent took forever to get documents to me and I believe he signed my name to a walk-thru hand written statement which i did not sign. Caveat Emptor! Fiance and I just moved into what a beautiful home. From the moment the paperwork was signed and they had our deposit, it has become a nightmare.
Land Ho is not a proper management company I currently work for a prospect that transferred from Lando Ho and these reviews are a full warning. I am not a renter but work in the same business and I am shocked to see companies like this are still open. I hope you get educated before signing with them.
Run as Fast as You Can! As a home owner I expected a company that would not only put someone in my home but ensure that they were somewhat decent people. Within a month of my tennants moving in, I started getting complaints from the neighbors. My renters ended up being theives, drug dealers and thugs. Dang right I ended my contract with Land Ho. If you care about who you rent to don't use these people. I happen to live in the same neighborhood as my rental. If all investors did Land Ho would be out of business.
NEVER, EVER, under any circumstance We have been living in one of their properties for 4 months and I assure you NOTHING BUT TROUBLE! Moved into a filthy house, didn't change the horrible carpets (many large stains, cigarette butts all over, burn holes. etc) as they said they had when we signed the lease that day! THEY ARE THE GREATEST!!!!!!!!!!!! I have two properties that were managed by another company. They had them for over five months & NOTHING. I switched my properties to Land Ho & with in two weeks of them taking over the management, both properties were rented to families w/ excellent credit. They have been in contact with me from the application, the lease, & any repairs that may need to be done.
