Kurt donated his time to help make the necessary repairs to thank my husband, who is a disabled vet, for his service. This outfit is probably the worst in all of Treasure Valley. No doubt. I left my riding lawn mower there for repairs, namely would not start. After two weeks I called. I was told the repair would be $250. I gave the OK. Two weeks later I call and this woman says the repair will be $500. I ask why. She bluntly says it needs a new carburetor. That was never an issue on the first estimate. When I asked her for more details. She would not tell me. She just said for me to come pick up my lawn mower. Rip Off Liers Bad Business Rip off paid $450 to get my lawn mower going new belts all they had to do was take all the new parts I bought to them to put on my mower after all the bs and waiting and having to take it back 3 times after bring it home it leaked gas the 1st time 2nd time it wouldn't start there words oh we have to clean it what the hell wouldnt you do that the 1st time come on now! now the belts are not new but I m asking what did I pay for?!? THIS PLACE TOOK OUR COMPANIES MONEY AND… THIS PLACE TOOK OUR COMPANIES MONEY AND RAN!!! THERE OWNER HUNG UP ON TWO COMPANIES IN THE VALLEY THAT WE HAD CALLED TO HAVE THEM TELL THE ISSUE TO ANOTHER PROSSIONAL CAUSE THEY NEVER MADE SENSE. WE BROUGHT A WORKING MOTOR IN WITH A MINOR OIL LEAK THAT WE NEEDING FIXED> THEY TOLD WOULDNT BE BUT A WK....WELL THAT CAME AND GONE AND WE called and they told us they fixed were THEY thought the leak was coming from but their was still leak so they would need to START WITH THE REAR MAIN SEAL... read more
What a rip off!! – I marked this one star, but if there was a 0 star to mark i would give it a 0 . I hired this place last Oct. 2011 he had our riding lawn mower for 7 weeks, only called right at first to say he needed money to order some parts. He never called back, i finally got in touch with him after the first week and a half to have him say he had broke one of the new belts we sent with the mower to be replaced and that he was waiting for it to come in. Excellent service and care – I just have to say I am so glad that I found Turf specialties. I took my lawn mower in for service and it runs now better than ever. Ross and the people working there know what they need to do to get the job done. Not only done, but done right. They take care of you from the moment you walk in the door and make you feel important. I am now a devoted customer.
