He was awesome! Gave me options for a bad ankle that had been giving me problems for the last 14 years due a different surgeon's incompetence. He took precautions and preformed certain tests prior to doing an ankle fusion with complications. He strives for the best outcomes.
Dr Silverman has worked on my right foot over the last 4 years. Started with fixing my flat foot and tendon reconstruction. Was very scared being never had major surgery but Dr Silverman listened and put me at ease. Healed pretty well but had to go back to see Dr Silverman again about a year ago. Throughout my medical treatment as his patient, Dr. Silverman misdiagnosed me, He misread the MRI and X-rays. He was over zealous with booking unnecessary surgeries. Please research extensively. I was in great health, physically active, I had two complete physicals with blood work prior to surgery with Dr. Silverman. I had a simple surgery to fix my little toe. He told me it was a hammer toe and removed part of the bone. It still didn't heal properly, so I had another surgery at another location. Now I have a shorter toe because of his missed diagnosis.
Dr. Silverman did nothing short of saving my life I suffered from severe popliteal artery entrapment. The pain was excruciating. The condition was misdiagnosed by MAYO CLINIC after Id been there ONE YEAR. Silverman got the ultrasound done and connected me with a vascular surgeon to fix the problem. Dr Silverman performed surgery on my heal and was able to relieve nearly constant pain that I had for almost 10 years. Very personable and knowledgeable, I would highly recommend Dr Silverman.
The worst doctor I’ve ever met. Completely unprofessional. Dr. Silverman misdiagnosed me. He lied about what was on the CT scan x-rays. When I questioned him he became extremely defensive and raised his voice. He botched my surgery. Continued to give me opiates. He controlled my health care, calling other doctors in MN.
