We ordered our Lance 1995 fully loaded and picked it up October 2014. We've had it out 35 times in all weather conditions, not one issue! Compared to the competition, it's the best. No complaints.

Compared to so many other brands, Lance is far superior in build quality and light weight construction. Anyone who has owned an RV knows that things happen and need to be tweaked as you go. We have found our 2015.5 Lance Trailer model 1985 to have minimal issues compared to others and it has been a fantastic solution to our need to camp with a full bathroom and shower, and walk around bed. In California we have the opportunity to camp year-round and we do. If you have any questions about a Lance Truck Camper, Travel Trailer,... read more

My parents bought a new Lance 1575 Travel Trailer and it's a lemon and they won't take it back. They haven't camped all summer because it's been in the shop. When I first posted I got an e-mail three days later they still haven't done anything, but pay lip service to the problem. BUYER BEWARE!

I purchased a new Lance 1575 travel trailer in Dec 2014. I have had an equipment failure (plumbing, electrical, etc)on every trip I have attempted to make since then. The dealer in Ft Worth TX has attempted to work on my unit multiple times, but they still have the unit and I can't enjoy the activities I was looking forward to. Anyone else had these problems?

We bought a new 2015 slide in Model 865 about a year ago. The only significant problem so far is that some of the cabinet door latches are too weak to survive use. The thin metal catches that are screwed to the frame bend during use and the door will no longer close easily. I had to get out pliers and bend the very thin metal catches back into place, but they almost immediately bent again, making the doors difficult to use. These are pretty minor issues. I am going to have to replace those cabinet latches with some other typ... read more

As a future camper I can only say based on what I've seen so far the future is looking good.

We have the 930 with side entry and, overall have been pleased with it. There are a couple of glaring issues though, some which have been mentioned. First - the camper jack remote quit working. When I went to the dealer they told me the manufacturer was no longer making the remote. They thought I could replace the whole panel but couldn't find one, even to order. I finally found a generic remote on Amazon, for $50.00 that works fine. Next is the ladder. As mentioned before, the tubes are steel and the steps are aluminum. Any... read more

Just bought a Chevy 3500 dualley from a good friend and it just so happened to come with a 1988 11' Lance camper...package deal if you will. I initially planned to sell the camper as I already have an Allegro Bus motor home. My wife and I fell in love with this little camper. It's ergonomic, light (for its size) and honestly does everything that stupid diesel bus does(napper, crapper, kitchen and a/c), at a fraction of the cost. Long story short, sold the bus, which covered the cost of the truck the camper, a years worth of ... read more
