From humble beginnings in a small former gas station, Lancaster's BBQ was born in Race City, USA (otherwise known as Mooresville, NC). The year was 1986 and our slow-smoked, real eastern NC BBQ and race memorabilia quickly became legendary. We got there and were the only customers. Wasn't sure if that'd be good or bad. Well, it was bad. Our food was obviously old and thrown on a grill to heat up. Brisket had marks from the grill and was very dry. Ribs were just ok. Wings were disgusting. Fries were old and soggy. Waitress was the only good thing about the experience. Everyone hyped this place up way too much. We should have just visited smoke pit first. We left here very disappointed.
Amazing always stop on our way to the beach . Will be stopping on the way back as well
Their earlier today food was great and service wonderful. Came to visit my son who works for Penske and we stopped in. Will be back again
food was good, waitress was helpful liked the race memorabilia I would go back
Excellent food. Excellent prices. A must stop for race fans or BBQ lovers.
Great atmosphere! Excellent BBQ and slaw and of course the hush puppies!!��
