Bought someone's contract and had the apartment to myself for a while, thought it was a dream. Our hot water and air conditioning failed at the peak of summer. My roommates and I had to move out after three days because the apartment became unbearably hot at night. Lanai, the management, has taken over two weeks to address the issue since our first maintenance request, and it’s still not fixed. None of us live in the apartment anymore due to these unlivable conditions, yet we’re still paying rent for a place we can’t use. Just so everyone is aware, this is still a rough place to live in 2025. The apartment itself isn't bad, but the management is horrendous. The lease was advertised as being $500 a month. The fine print, however, details the $42 "resident convenience package" which includes wonderful things like...paying your rent and submitting maintenance requests online. Something that's pretty much a given in this day and age. The even finer print states you can't opt out of this at all. So, rent is $542 a month but not advertised as such.... read more
