I had the most awful Experience with this dermatologist, she damaged my nerve on my face that has resulted in a life changing events. I’m now on medication for the rest of my life. And when I called to let them know my face was still numb. She sent me to the ER instead. They’ve taken zero accountability and continue to touch peoples faces. I’m writing this review so no one goes through what I been through
The Worst experience with a Doctor you can have!. I visited Dr. Lana Pho with the hope of receiving a professional and thorough treatment, but unfortunately, the consultation was never even completed. Instead of providing a clear diagnosis, she asked me what the name of my previous medication was so she could prescribe the same thing. Her proposed solution for my problem—after more than a year dealing with it—was simply to cover it with a band-aid or apply Vaseline. She was very rushed and condescending. Took like half a second to look at my areas of concern. Kept handing out the print outs to every question I asked. Said that my sun spots can be treated with laser which is not covered by insurance but is $100 flat rate. When I called back to schedule it, they priced it at $600 and as it turned out later she quoted me for completely different thing. Extremely disappointed with my visit. Dr Pho is very nice and patient. She sat down next to me and said, "I'll let you run the show. You tell me what you want from me." Ok a little weird. I wasn't coming in for a plastic surgery consult. I have been frustrated by recent breakouts and wanted to know how to make them go away. She offered no solutions beyond what I can find on YouTube and, I'm sorry to say that as a doctor, I would think a board-certified dermatologist (?) would have better information. Maybe not? I just love Dr Pho and her energy. Also very kind , and her surgical nurse was very thorough explaining everything to me. Happy and upbeat, all around absolutely terrific!
