Do not rent this hotel..we went thru super.com..they do not refund your money..there were dead mice in room 219...it's still laying there front desk did not go pick it up...
Have a retirement breakfast.. service was good . The food was fine .. only downside restrooms are very sad shapes need updated
Hall REEKED of strong cigarette smell even though they claimed it was non smoking, later it smelled of marijuana, the roof was leaking rain water into the hall into a bucket, ceiling tiles were missing and on the ground, the elevator was so small it was SO hard to even fit the luggage cart into it, our toilet wobbled bad, our phone had over half the buttons missing and they couldn't hear me when I tried to call the front desk on it, we didn't have toilet paper in the room, and we had ONE outlet for the fridge, microwave, and... read more
I am not one that complains or writes many reviews but I felt that I needed to write this one. My mom was admitted to Mercy Hospital on Friday 3/28 for an emergency and it was late when my husband and I started looking for a room. We did not know that there was a volleyball tourney going on so we drove around to 4 or 5 that did not have any vacancy before deciding to stop at the Lamplighter on Glenstone. It's a wonderful place to stay. The food in the cafe is wonderful. I love their menu, and the staff at the hotel is second to none. I love the old wooden stairs. The place has character. Highly recommended.
