The food and the service was amazing. It was fun sitting outside on a beautiful day as well. After doing some shopping we came back and ate an awesome dessert. Again we had good service. Really enjoyed ourselves

Dog sitting with a water bowl at the outside bar. Sitting at the bar not on the ground people eat here gross and disgusting should be shut down

Hi Gina, Not sure what transpired but what you described is definitely not what we allow. Dogs & water bowls are welcome to be on the ground at our outside bar but definitely not on the bar. I'm sure if one of our bartenders or a manager ever saw a customer with their dog on the bar they would quickly make the customer aware that the dog needs to be on the ground or if it is a little dog on their lap. Thank you for letting us know.
Food was a little pricey and too much mayo in lobster roll Service was not great on front patio Waitress was a no-show after taking our order Beautiful historic Inn tho.

I had fond memories of the place and was looking forward to eating there. Started with the lobster/crab bisque. Soup was acceptable but not memorable, until the end. Found a huge chuck of lobster claw, as as I bit, I found they had not cleaned the shell and the meat had gone bad. Next I asked for a cheeseburger, rare to medium-rare. It came out well done, with fries that had been clearly repurposed. My waiter was no where in sight. Another waiter, took over and said she'd get me a new meal.
