The margaritas were awesome and the service was very good! The ambiance was awesome especially the Mariachi band!! Food was pretty good too
I simply love this place. I have been to many other restrants which serve Mexican cuisine, but I believe Lalos is the best food at a very reasonable price. Good food and cocktails topped with live music on certain days makes this place my absolute local favorite. The only thing I have to complain, if at all, would be that I feel the interiors are a bit dark espcially during the winter months when we can't sit outside. I have been there for drinks and it's not too bad. Over priced but tasty frozen margaritas that mainly taste like juice. We went there for a Sunday early dinner and realized the place is waaaaaaay to expensive for what they are serving. A 3 taco dinner that literally consists of 3 tacos (pork), some beans and some rice for $14.99? INSANE! Ordered some tamales which were bland. The quesadillas were good but cold. Feel like I was taken advantage with your "special" on a margarita. I thought she said it was $2 more for the premium liquor but it was cheaper. I ordered the house liquor and paid more and my margarita was warm, worst one ever. Food was ok, nothing to write home about. Really looked forward to going there tonight too.
Sergio is a great DJ, lots of dance music. Missed him last night.
Not impressed. Used to love the Lalo's in Glenview back in the 90s. Food was overpriced, service just ok. Better options in the area for sure!
