From the first visit, i felt genuine concern for my situation. The staff had to endure insurance denials and peer to peer to get the surgery scheduled, but it was successful thanks to the patience of Dr. Sehkon and his staff. Post surgery i feel i have access to both the doctor and the PA staff if i have questions or concerns. Hard to find that kind of care today. Thank you!
First of all, I was seen right away for both the xray and office visit.Dr Sekhon listened to my history with my back injury and was very encouraging that I would likely not need surgery with diligent back care and home exercises.I felt he understood my concerns and was very good at showing what the MRI meant.I always find it a relief when a surgeon does not push for surgery.
Besides, having an outstanding education, years of experience, and many research publications, Dr. Sehkon is a very approachable doctor. I really appreciated his reluctance to operate right away, instead exhausting other options first.
Honestly speaking, I was terribly worried about having this surgery done. I’ve heard some horror stories but after researching Dr. Sekhon and meeting him and his team, I had faith I was in the right care. They were upfront, caring and very informative. The entire process was quick and seem less. Surgery went extremely well and I am now pain free! The post surgery check up calls were a nice touch and has been a great experience by the entire team there at ROC. I highly recommend Dr. Sekhon and his team!
I have learned a lot from Dr Witmer about pain related to spine issues. He is knowledgeable, professional, caring and believes you need to be included in the management of your issues. I highly recommend him. You will be glad he’s treating you.
I recently had lower spinal surgery under the deft hands of Dr. Lali Sekhon. Surgery took 3-1/2 hours, and Dr. Sekhon fused several pins and a plate, so it was extensive. Despite all this, everything went perfectly. First, I never once felt any pain--and that's unusual for me! Dr. Sekhon has been our family neurosurgeon since 2007, for both my husband and myself. The care and compassion he has for his patients and their families, along with his excellent surgical skills, definitely make him an asset to the local medical community.
