This place has come a long way since the smoking days. With so much being destroyed in old Austin, it has remained and is better than before. Smells cleaner, has BBQ and better cocktails, but still always Christmas!
This place is great! My best friend moved here a couple years ago and I finally got to visit her, and she took me here. This is her favorite bar. Rob and Rod are the shit! Super cool guys and inexpensive drinks. Love this place!
If you love Christmas like I do, go here. PLUS they have a pool table
This bar is a genuine Austin gem! It's perfect for locals and tourists. Ask for the Apple Ginger Sparkler (I don't remember if that's what it's called) it's fantastic- like a Christmas Moscow Mule! Seriously. Come here. You won't regret it.
I am an Austinite! 55 yrs here. I love that they have not sold out and have stayed! I took a date that is new to Austin so he could see old Austin. He loved it! The bartenders turned the overhead music off when we started the jukebox so we could dance to our selections. That meant alot to me.
