BEWARE!!! If I would have read the other comments I would have NOT went to this doctor. I went to this doctor because I am having thyroid issues recently and I did the nuclear intake test to find out I have Hyperthyroidism and that's it. This doctor referred me to Moffitt Cancer as well before my intake test....WHY?? Made an appointment and Adventhealth sent my results and Moffitt didn't even respect the test from Adventhealth and had to do these test OVER...waste of my insurance!!! Did a biopsy and NO CANCER!!! Dr. Kannan and her office staff are amazing! Dr. Kannan is very compassionate and extremely knowledgeable. If you have a wait to get in and see her - book the appointment SHE is WORTH the wait!! She takes her time to get to know you and your condition(s).

Stay far away from this Doctor. I have diabetes type 2 uncontrolled on insulin which hasn’t been working. She changed me from so many medications Metformin was my original non working medication and she changed me to lantus with ozempic- not working! Lantus with Trulicity not working! Lantus with mounjaro- not working! My sugars have been uncontrollable with this doctor 400+.
