Dr. Lakshamanan is an amazing psychiatrist. He listened intently to my symptoms and prescribed me the right medication to help. And when I told him of my side effects he listened and prescribed the right amount. The appointments never dragged on. They were short, sweet and to the point.
I have been seeing him for 3 years and have nothing but positives to say. He is nice, caring, and helped me find the right combination of medication after years of trying with other doctors.
Dr. Lakshmanan has been an absolutely amazing psychiatry specialist for me in the two years I have been his patient. He helped me find a medical plan that helped me with my specific issues fairly quickly and I am still on that plan with no intentions of stopping. Other than the slightly echoey room he speaks to you on, he is a genuine person and a very patient doctor who is in it to benefit the patient with whatever works best.
I met with Dr. Lakshmanan for a psychiatry evaluation for my anxiety and depression. By the end of the session he told me that I needed to seek in-patient help which I informed him I didn't have the time and resources to do. After our session, my MD Live account was essentially red flagged and I was no longer able to seek help via telehealth, which was the only means of help I was able to attain.

Dr. Lakshamanan is an excellent doctor. If I told you all the positive things about Dr. Lak it would be a book. I saw Dr. Lak (nickname) for at least 20 years. He saw me through good times and bad. I trust him immensely...I highly recommend Dr. Lak...
Liar and judgemental. Will ask you probing questions, force his medical plan on you and if you don’t accept he will drop you as a client, call the police on you for a mental check and then lie about the conversation had on documentation in order to protect himself. Don’t work with this doctor, he is not understanding nor compassionate.
I have been a patient of Dr. Lakshmanan for 23 years. He has seen me at my very worst as well as my improvement over the years. He listens to me with great intrest and care. He researches and goes to seminars to continue his education. He offers information and refers to educated and understanding councilors that offer solutions to help you.
