Always prompt for visits, very detailed, concrete responses and listens to my opinions. Dr. Ramaswamy literally saved my life. I am very fortunate to have him as my physician, I know how hard it is to find an excellent psychiatrist.
I was in a dark place and Dr. Lakshmanan helped me dig out to a better place. He listened and believed in me, so I believed in myself. I appreciate him greatly.
Very helpful and concerned about my situation. He really listened to me and prescribed the appropriate medicine which has been very effective in helping my depression. He has a great 'bedside manner' and takes the time during the appointments to ensure I am doing OK. I would recommend him to anyone because he is an excellent doctor. .

Dr. Ramaswamy Lakshmanan is an excellent physician. His focus of diagnosis 'by the book' led him to diagnose me correctly when so many others could not. Just one visit with him had a hug impact on my life. He was also willing to take medication suggestions. As others have stated, he listens well and directs you to a credible source to read more.
I've received excellent care from Dr. Lakshmanan. I visit him through MDLive, and each visit has been so positive. I feel like he really listens to me. He is patient and kind. On the follow-up visit, he checks to see how I'm adapting to new medications, and if any changes or adjustments need to be made. It's important to have a doctor who you feel really cares for you, and Dr. Lakshmanan cares.
Did not provide me with my full 3 month perscription for my most important sleeping medication, despite providing a 3 month perscription for my other medications. No way to contact him through MDLive without paying for an additional appointment and his phone number does not connect. A doctor should want to help his patients, and provide them a way to reach out.
Dr. Lakshmanan moved quickly to take care of me, and I truly believe he saved my life. He really cares about his patients, and he is always punctual.
