I have been looking for years for someone to cut my curly hair that I trusted as much as the stylist I went to in the east village (for 15 years) - and finally have found KITTY and she is magical! When I want short curly hair - she makes it cute. When I want longer curly hair - she makes it happen. And is just a lovely human. Highly recommend the whole salon and kitty specifically.

My recent appointment with Jennifer was shockingly disappointing. I clearly asked for volume and face-framing long layers, but instead received a blunt, straight-across cut with no layering, no shape, and no apparent effort to check for balance or finish. The salon is super cute and cozy & I had such a great experience with Jennifer Velez! My hair had grown out blonde highlights and I wanted to go darker. We decided to go with a brown color with hints of red and she absolutely nailed it. She literally transformed my hair. She gave me exactly what I wanted! Jenn is super friendly and talented. I also went back to her for a toning and more highlights and I was once again obsessed with the results. My hair has never looked this good. Jenn really knows what she's doing!
