WOW they must have gone downhill since 1999, I used to live in the beaver hill apartments and had a wonderful experience, clean apartments and friendly staff, I once called the caretaker because I had a problem and within the hour they had a contractor up to fix the issue, was the only apartment that I got my full damage deposit back, I only moved because I bought a house, I always said when I get to old I would move back there because I had such a great experience, but reading the reviews they sure sound awful now

Current tenant, although cheap, yes very cheap the new things they have done to the building are nothing short of disgusting! Changing things that were fine and worked fine all for a few more bucks. The lack of maintenance and cleaning around here is disgusting, the lack of empathy from anyone is disgusting, and as a few others have said no one knows what's going till it's too late! Treating their tenants poorly. Have really obvious favouritism and absolutely horrible communication. Kicking out a cancer patient on EI and just wishing to “get well soon” :) Making up stuff about “habitually of missing payments” while refusing to accept cheques and adding extra fees on top for days that been missed for entirely their fault due to complete lack of adequate communication, and ignoring that EI payments are being done from 5 to 8 day of each month. I am beyond frustrated with this organization. My fireplace was inspected, and then a COUPLE WEEKS later, I was then told it was not operational and to stop using it immediately so it can be boarded up because it did not pass inspection. I was using the fireplace during that time when it would not have been safe as it did not pass inspection. That is a major liability and a safety concern. It feels great living somewhere where they don't think it is important to tell their tenants right away if there is something not passing... read more
