RecommendedHave to give a shout out to Dr. Andrew Mattson. The last week or so I was seeing random flashes of light and had a lot more “floaters” in my eyes than normal. Didn’t think much about it. But today seemed worse so I of course googled the symptoms and the first thing that came up was “Retinal Detachment or tear” and to go to the emergency room right away. I'm never going back to this place again. On top of being more expensive and always trying to up-sell everything, they got my contact order wrong several times before I actually got my contacts. Now after wearing my daily contacts for several months I realized that two boxes are the wrong prescription. And the sad part is, getting the order in the first place was such a hassle that I have no desire to call to rectify this new problem. I'll just wear the wrong prescription rather than have to deal with that train wreck again.

So, I'm a little high maintenance and have been trying several contacts. The office has shipped them to Burnsville from Lakeville for my convenience. I appreciate the patience of the doctor and staff. Dr. Andrew Mattson is great with my children as well!
I have referred people to this clinic and they are still thanking me for referring them. Very professional, knowledgeable and friendly Staff and Doctor.
I would not recommend this office. I had to give it one star because I didn't have an option for a 1/2 star. The doctor was pleasant during the visit but the office staff lacks courtesy and compassion. I also took the time to send my concerns to the doctor and he never responded. This office made me feel like a number, not a patient. Very disappointing....

The staff is knowledgeable, courteous, and friendly. I had to switch eye doctors because of my vision insurance, and I am glad I found Lakeville Family Eye Care. I have been very pleased and highly recommend them.
