First of all I need to say that Jamie was the most friendly and helpful employee there. She went above and beyond. Our place was clean and very cute. I'm already booked for next year.
I have stayed here multiple times over the last couple years and always end up extending my stay by at least another night to the point where now the owners know to just reserve an extra night for me when I reserve the first night, knowing that I will book another night or two. To start, I had difficulty getting the key to my cottage (The Stoney). I went to the office to find it empty & the place looked like a junkyard. When I finally got into the cottage, the first thing I noticed was a dead fly in the refrigerator, the door to which dragged on the floor when you opened it. The blinds either did not work or were torn up. There was hair on the shower drain & the toilet paper holder fell off the wall as soon as I touched it. We moved from uncle toms to lakeview resorts a few years ago and never looked back. The cottages are idyllic, nostalgic, everything gotl embodies. Robin, Christine and the staff are very welcoming, helpful and prompt. The cottages are very clean, linens provided, ac, TV, internet access for a great price. Lake front, beautiful beach / lake access. If you're coming to the lake to make memories, and enjoy time with your friends and family this is the spot for you!
