DO NOT BOARD YOUR DOGS AT LAKEVIEW KENNELS. My son had boarded his two German shepherds for years here. After this last visit during Thanksgiving, we have learned how neglected the dogs were. During the time there, they were supposed to be walked daily. This must not have happened. My son picked them up on Monday and had to take one of them immediately to the vet, within 30 mins. We love this kennel! We leave our dog Prancer several times a year at Lakeview and are always pleased with the care she receives. We haven't taken her anywhere else in years!
Lakeview Kennels is an unusual "find" today We have left our dog at Lakeview Kennels a dozen times in little over a year and half, always happy with both the kennel and grooming services. Our dog is both hyper and dog-aggressive. I feel special care has always been taken to keep her isolated from the other dogs, while also keeping her active and well-attended, during her stay. Thanks guys This is a very clean facility. In the waiting room I noticed the decorative touch, and there wasn't a smell of a dog. Lakeview Kennel advised me that it was there eco friendly soap. We took our two dogs to them to have them groomed and they did a great job. Thanks Lakeview Kennel. Their young staff works hard. Mike F.
very sad story This is a sad story. My parents brought their 2 dogs for boarding during a busy holiday weekend. The smaller dog has diabetes so they gave the kennel her insulin with instructions and labels for everything. She got sick because they gave the insulin to the OTHER non-diabetic dog. This was a mistake that should have been caught within the 4 days it took their diabetic dog to die. Thank goodness the non diabetic dog was large enough to withstand the extra insulin shots. Very Caring I have brought my dogs to this kennel for years. It is perfect for large dogs. They have access to indoor/outdoor at all times. They aren't left in cages like a lot of kennels have. They can have play time or a long walk on the trails. I love this place
3 times in 2 years- Great!! As the tiele states never had a problem with my 4 dogs being left there for 3 days to a week depending on the vacation. Dogs always come back looking healthy and happy. Highly reccomend!
Great kennel & groomer in North Atlanta Our family appreciates the love & care our dogs have received through the years at Lakeview Kennels. For over 20 years we have never hesitated to board our pets there. Our current dog is over 60lbs, she gets a large (inside/outside) run. Seems like they have a magical way of grooming dogs as ours comes home with a pleasant and unique odor not to mention how soft and silky her coat appears. Great Experience Every Time! Jim and his staff have done an outstanding dog with my two dogs. One of them has fear aggression and because of Jim's training experiences and the caution the other staffers take with my dog, he is actually happy to go there and they haven't had any issues with him. I have boarded them numerous times for work related travels and both are always happy to see the employees there and are happy when I pick them up.
