My spouse was a patient at this facility and I could not be more grateful for the staff here. He was treated with utmost respect and kindness. Their facility was clean and well maintained. The specialists kept me in the loop for treatment and encouraged me to visit and call during his inpatient stay. He had a positive experience there during a really hard time in our lives. They do not let your children under 18 visit you at all. That is a bunch of bs. They can figure out safety plan for a visit. Lots of hospitals in ny are starting this crap. Its not good for children not to see there parents. Nor is it good for the parents. Kids have rights too. Time for us to speak up for them. This is not ending on this review.
Everyplace has their issues and strengths but their strengths far outweigh their struggle points. 99% of the staff are amazing and have an insane level of empathy and humanity. (Inpatient. I’m not very familiar with outpatient care). The director is always around and available if you have any problems and she takes them to heart.
